Many homes in Vanuatu are made of tin and wood. More expensive homes are made of cement.

A Story on Ifira Island

Aunty Carren told the kids a story in the local language Bislama.

Basketball on Ifira Island

Here are local villagers playing basketball.
Their basketball nets are nailed on two large trees. The gound was dirt but flat and good to bounce the ball.

Playing with Local Kids on Ifira Island

Me and my cousins played with some nice local kids. They also gave us a tour of part of the island.

Local Village on Ifira Island

We went to Ifira Island again and visited friends.
We always ride a boat to the island, then walk through the local village. The island is small and we have walked around most of it.
